He's trapped in an alternative apocalyptic world where all his family and friends have turned into zombies. He was bitten by one of them, but he was hopeful that he could find a cure and return home. Then, he found an abandoned laboratory and looking for some useful junk, he found a clone machine and use it for himself. Now, there's a zombie Ricc walking around and an "immortal" normal one (Clone machine creates a new Ricc every time he dies)
