Hey everyone! I'm back!

I did this lil doodle of Steeljaw last night, in order to test my stylus. Looks like he had ANOTHER unfortunate encounter... and things aren't going well for him.
I don't think he will survive in one piece, gang ✌️ His luck in the show is insane...

Plus, other than changing my display name to "NYXX", I have A LOT of changes to the Seeing Sparks AU. The AU itself is now called the "NEXUS au" and I have created a new community here!

And, I have been redesigning my designs of the characters, as shown with Steel here.

This was the hardest design to come up with due AND the hardest to actually SKETCH due to the wings. I swear my soul left my body while I was constantly redrawing them... I'm so glad that I'll be mostly draw them as a cape. They aren't really that accurate (which pretty much saddens me...), but they are actually prosthetics as his previous wings... uh....

Plus, I changed the weird armor thing into a proper mask as it always gives me a struggle whenever I try to draw it on him. I did also give them a bit of some face details along with some... idk what to call it cuz the image jokingly refers to it as eye liner cuz I have been into Mononoke lately and I decided to add some markings on Cross-y bcs of that. And I did take a page out of RID Nightstrike & ES Starscream's book/s (cuz 1. one of them transforms into a bat, and 2. ES Screamer does look like a bat a bit from my perspective) for some other elements... yeah.

Oh, and I did make a stealth version as well. The colors and shades aren't the same as the previous one though as I... forgor how I did it other than using multiply and opacity a lot... But they lowkey look menacing...

Tbh my fav part of this piece is the mouth. It just... sticks out to me...

I spent like 5 days procrastinating on this it kept turning out not the way I wanted.

I also tried experimenting more and using some other brushes. So expect a bit of a style change again.

[REUPLOADED JUST TO FIX SOME THINGS]

Been doom-scrolling through social media and now I have created THIS beautiful monstrosity.

I feel like I'm in the mood to create an AU for the show.

Idk why but I decided on making the amongi into a new creatures and made this lil alien to demonstrate. I really the flower kinda thing for the crewmongus... so I created an entirely different race. Elf-like guys. I don't think I will make reference sheets for the others sadly... but there's a chance.

Also, I forgor the backpack uh...

So for a few random info (& ideas):
• The amongis have like a second name related to their color or just random things to like avoid confusion. Like for example, Blue's second name is "Lazuli" and for Green, I'm debating on "Fern" or something idk ("Pines" or "Leaf"). I feel like it can help that you guys can drop suggestions.
• The amongi have unique patterns that are the same color as the sclera of their eyes. I tried to give Blue some heart motifs. eh... not sure if it worked out. I used a lighter color of their main color to outline their faces in other to keep the kind-of visor aspect.
• I guess some backstories for the crew??
• Their tails can do some funky things. Like maybe their prehensile. Plus I have this idea of two tails wrapping around each other is like a sign of affection <3. Their also leaf shaped.
• For the AU, after the events of the 1st season, everyone respawns on the ship... but that does not mean their unscathed physically and mentally. What they do next...? uh.

I'll add more info on the appearances of the imposter and such, but here's Blue with a few of my headcanons <3

I started this yesterday, and decided to finish it.

I really like this piece. I thought that katakana (a Japanese writing system) would look good due to its sharp edges. Plus, I decided to make it glowww.... And added abit of text that may or may not give some lore...

But tbh, I was expecting this to be out a few hours ago, but I was multitasking... uh.

Well, atleast Sunny still slays like last time!

Yapping time!

Firstly, I want to apologize cuz I started his design from scratch and ditched the whole sunrise color scheme ESPECIALLY THE PURPLE. I felt like my first design that I gradually built up wasn't really resonating with me anymore. So I made him a mixed Cybertronian & gave a more dark sun-like palette. Plus, I added in like those visibly pointed elf-like audials (like the ones that Knockout). And I added some more gradients to really fit that style I'm going for.

For "attire", I went full-on bartender, and gave him a vest, waist apron, & shoes to fit. I also gave him a cape (which like splits abit at the back) in order to kinda callback to the poncho from his 2nd design. Also, if you have noticed, there are some shapes stitched to his apron, which uses a sewing technique known as "appliqué" where you stitch a small fabric (which has a motif or design) to an even bigger piece of fabric. It's like embroidery, except in embroidery you use the thread to make the design (if that makes sense....). I like to think that Earth practices, techniques, or just basically abit of Earth culture still made its way to modern Cybertron, so his friends just added those designs in <3.

And yeah, I gave him the 4-point star (& a few diamonds) for his motif since I am currently REWRITING some lore. Basically, Sunflare was raised by a few dads who are all elf-like cybertronian races called Celestialcons. And all the kids have a name of a star in their name, so SUNflare, POLARIS, VEGA-1, and more! I feel like TF AUs/OCs give a chance to include more mixed races of Cybertron.

ALSO, like I said, I am rewriting some lore and now "The Shining Cycle" is now renamed "The Solar Cycle" cuz the previous name was BUNS and didn't really fit well.

And final thoughts, this is my favorite design so far! It just fits what I envisioned Sunflare to be, and it makes him feel more mature, confident, & otherworldly!
