I’m so cooked.
In the 11th grade, you have to do an internship for three weeks and have to find a place on your own and write applications.
So of course, I wrote to different parts of the car industry, rejected, to different design firms, rejected or ghosted, and finally even to a stonemasonary and still got rejected and ghosted.
I have two weeks left before the internship is supposed to begin, I should have handed in my workplace long ago but nobody wants me.
I’m not even that bad, it’s just that those creative businesses are getting taken over by AI and machine manufacturing and the car industry is screwing them selves over.
I talked to people wanting to go into similar positions, but everyone who has realized that problem too late is just as screwed as me.
I’m super stressed out right now, I also have to write a history exam tomorrow whith a topic that I care less about then the dirt beneath my shoe.
I think at this point we can all agree that rain is the best.
But more specifically, I like rain the most, when the sky is covered with a thick layer of clouds, the raindrops are decently thick and when I’m sitting outside under some sort of shelter.
It makes me feel cozy and safe and I love it.
@micah - ♡ I can imagine that’s so nice!
one time i sat outside in the rain with my cat for an hour, it was so nice
Hehe :D
All right, I’m calling it there.
Thank y’all so much for participating!
I can’t believe how many ended up joining!
You guys are amazing! <3
There are some truly amazing results.
My personal favourites are @Ade_1996 ,the perspective looks great (really cool art in their gallery, check them out), @Iz , with their hilarious Perry the platypus car, @Tomato_boy , hilarious scene with many more participants (also has stunning art in their gallery, check them out aswell), @suba , really nice and finally, @t2401 , bringing in a lil’ pice of movie history.
But of course, this is just my subjective opinion, each and everyone did a great job!
Also, thanks for pointing out my ‘Examles’!
Ah, I forgot.
I have a new Art Space. :3
In this Art Jam, I want you to make a super simple concept sketch of a car.
It doesn't need to be perfect, just enjoy the process of creating funky vehicles.
If you're done, you can sketch a second, a third... how ever many you want, or you can maybe expand on your prevous design, evolving it and maybe even render it, if you like.
Have some fun using your creativity.
Here are two easy tips:
1. The easiest way to get started with designing a car is to sketch
from the side view.
For that you need to mark down the proportions first, which
you might want to look up online, because each type of car
has different proportions for different usecases.
For that you sketch a few boxes, one for the engine, one for
passenger compartment and one for the boot, and then you
sketch two circles for the wheels.
Look at exaple 1 in the Jam.
2. One thing many people underestimate is how important it is
how you draw the lines.
Allways use one continous line instead of shaping it from
mustible seperate lines!
Many people then face the problem that they can't make long
continous lines.
That is because most beginners use their wrist as the pivot
point to make long strokes and use their fingers to guide the
pen more precisely, but instead you should use your elbow or
your shoulder to make long strokes and your wrist to guide the
pen more precisely
Look at example 2 in the Jam.
Art project for school.
We were supposed to pick an object, draw it 4 times, with each drawing getting more abstract.
I love how the final one looks more like an amalgamation of the Volkswagen Beetle and the Bugatti Veyron.
and also your way of drawing it is so cool :DD
that's such a cool project! this is really good for form practice
Repost because Magma took it down. Again.
For clarification: The left image is the reference image, the right image is the reference image, but with the whole bumper being drawn by hand, by me.
I like to have the reference Image just as big as the modified image, so you have direct comparison.
I have spent about 2 hours sketching and rendering my bumper onto this car.
Anyway, I just woke up, I’m tired and I’ll probably edit this post add the details later on.
Also, do you have a suggestion on what car I should do next?
Cool car :)
Hello everyone!
Here is my 6th and hopefully the final version of Lilac.
I improved my anatomy, rendering and character design and combined them into this drawing.
Also, I repost this because I wanted to add some more contrast. :)
I'd also like to mention that I took some inspiration from @seaslug because she has really pretty art.
Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied with the result. What is your take?
@{⊹ 𖦹 ✦Oat_not_meel✦ 𖦹 ⊹} Hehe, thanks.
OH MY HECKING GOSH we are not worthy of such peakness
Please!
I just want this damn art block to end! TwT
I aspire to be as good as you
Step 1: Take over one Layer with a Ferrari Luce and modify it!
Step 2: Lower the opacity and sketch over it or render your
modifications realistically on it!
Step 3: Have fun!
I think it’s the new update
@||P1NN3D P0STS||🌹🎸 ☆HUNT3R☆ Oh, thanks, that’s mine. Why do Artjams get posted automatically?
This is a piece I started 2 and a half months ago but never finished.
I used it as a template to practice my rendering and I’m still unsure if I’ll finish this piece, but what do you think about my progress?
I LOVE THISSSSS AAAAA THE EYE IS SO PWETTY! !! :D
Imma post this aswell.

:D we made peakness
I repost this because Magma removed it previously.
For clarification: The top one is the reference image, the bottom one is the modified image.
All changes were drawn by hand in a program called Sketchbook.
I decided to facelift this horrific creature called the Ferrari Luce (it’s Italian, so it’s pronounced “Lootshe”
I think I have to practice making the lines look straight and not so messy.
So, what did I do?
First and foremost, I resized the air intakes in the bumper (the top one is purely for visuals and aerodynamics), making the top one thinner than the bottom one, to prevent the car from looking top heavy.
Then I reshaped these intakes as well to make the appearance more aggressive and more appropriate for a Ferrari, but mainly to create better stance, emphasizing the edges pointing outwards into the ground.
I also elongated the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) LED strips for added aggressiveness and width.
The side skirts hiding the battery now reach higher, making the car look flatter, the side hole thing (that literally has no purpose) is a bit edgier and the rear fenders have been slanted more to, again, give the car a better stance.
But how did this car happen?
Simple: This car wasn’t made by the Ferrari design department.
Instead, Ferrari hired an external product design company called LoveForm, founded by a former Apple product designer and a jewelry designer.
Yes, a product design company.
They never made a car before and the Ferrari design department of course p###ed of by their Bosses decision, so they didn’t help them.
So, LoveForm came up with this amazing product, but horrible car.
I’d buy this as a computer mouse, but not as a Ferrari.
This car was so poorly received, that their stock value immediately fell by 7.8%.
That’s a lot.
But what?!
They’re sold out?!
The Chinese are here to save the day!
Was that the plan after all?
I hardly understand a thing but your design looks a lot better :)
@||P1NN3D P0STS||🌹🎸 ☆HUNT3R☆ Thank you so much!!
I tried facelifting a second BMW.
I’m not gonna tell you which one the original it is, don’t look it up and if you already know which one it is, pretend like you don’t.
So, honest opinion, which one looks better?
“Damn that’s good” “damn that’s good”

I gotta get used to drawing on my IPad again.

(Repost for better visibility)
I tried to be a lil’ bit productive during my vacation, so here are my character sketches (I hope you can find and read all the numbers):
1: OC concept 1
2: Snow Na’vi by @Mils101 (sadly, couldn’t participate in their jam)
3: OC concept 2 (using Samdoesarts Pause-Challenge)
4: Casino by @||P1NN3D P0STS||🌹🎸 ☆HUNT3R☆
5: ‘Your OC’ mannequin
6: OC concept 3
7: OC concept 4
8: Mulpan (Geometry Dash content creator)
9: OC concept 5
10: OC concept 6 (someone might remember it)
Which one is the best?
What concepts should I turn into actual OCs?
Feel free to tell me!
I’d also like to hear name suggestions for these concepts!
Fanart for someone called Tskreppy.
Found this OC some time ago, thought she looked cool, so I attacked them.
It was very fun.
Anyway, that were all my attacks.
Oooooh very cool
My new OC!
If you couldn't tell, she's going to appear in the story of lilac, so I'm not going to say much about her.
What do you think is her profession?
@tutomeepmeep242 Thank you so much!
your artstyle is so cool!! it's like 3d and 2d at the same time :00
DAWGGG, the art is amazingg
@||P1NN3D P0STS||🌹🎸 ☆HUNT3R☆, I think I know what you mean (not saying it makes it really difficult) and no, she isn’t involved in this kinda crime. But the outfit has a purpose.
I’ve thought about it too, but I don’t think so.
Whoa i just realized something, is Mentha the one who killed Lilac’s parents?
It’s generally the outfit who gives me the vibe
It’s probably not what you have in mind, @||P1NN3D P0STS||🌹🎸 ☆HUNT3R☆, but I’m also not quite sure what you mean.
I was also thinking of a other job, that’s more into darker themes and crime but I can’t say it here as I could get flagged

Assassin <3
@||P1NN3D P0STS||🌹🎸 ☆HUNT3R☆, lol, didn’t even notice.
Meant spy
I would also say that she looks like she might be an assassin or some sort of secret agent. Also the art is really good
Maybe an assassin or spry of some kind? She’s really prettyyyy
Thanks
