I think at this point we can all agree that rain is the best.
But more specifically, I like rain the most, when the sky is covered with a thick layer of clouds, the raindrops are decently thick and when I’m sitting outside under some sort of shelter.
It makes me feel cozy and safe and I love it.
one time i sat outside in the rain with my cat for an hour, it was so nice

There are some truly amazing results.
My personal favourites are @Ade_1996 ,the perspective looks great (really cool art in their gallery, check them out), @Iz , with their hilarious Perry the platypus car, @Tomato_boy , hilarious scene with many more participants (also has stunning art in their gallery, check them out aswell), @suba , really nice and finally, @t2401 , bringing in a lil’ pice of movie history.
But of course, this is just my subjective opinion, each and everyone did a great job!

In this Art Jam, I want you to make a super simple concept sketch of a car.
It doesn't need to be perfect, just enjoy the process of creating funky vehicles.
If you're done, you can sketch a second, a third... how ever many you want, or you can maybe expand on your prevous design, evolving it and maybe even render it, if you like.
Have some fun using your creativity.
Here are two easy tips:
1. The easiest way to get started with designing a car is to sketch
from the side view.
For that you need to mark down the proportions first, which
you might want to look up online, because each type of car
has different proportions for different usecases.
For that you sketch a few boxes, one for the engine, one for
passenger compartment and one for the boot, and then you
sketch two circles for the wheels.
Look at exaple 1 in the Jam.
2. One thing many people underestimate is how important it is
how you draw the lines.
Allways use one continous line instead of shaping it from
mustible seperate lines!
Many people then face the problem that they can't make long
continous lines.
That is because most beginners use their wrist as the pivot
point to make long strokes and use their fingers to guide the
pen more precisely, but instead you should use your elbow or
your shoulder to make long strokes and your wrist to guide the
pen more precisely
Look at example 2 in the Jam.
Art project for school.
We were supposed to pick an object, draw it 4 times, with each drawing getting more abstract.
I love how the final one looks more like an amalgamation of the Volkswagen Beetle and the Bugatti Veyron.

For clarification: The left image is the reference image, the right image is the reference image, but with the whole bumper being drawn by hand, by me.
I like to have the reference Image just as big as the modified image, so you have direct comparison.
I have spent about 2 hours sketching and rendering my bumper onto this car.
Anyway, I just woke up, I’m tired and I’ll probably edit this post add the details later on.
Also, do you have a suggestion on what car I should do next?

Here is my 6th and hopefully the final version of Lilac.
I improved my anatomy, rendering and character design and combined them into this drawing.
Also, I repost this because I wanted to add some more contrast. :)
I'd also like to mention that I took some inspiration from @seaslug because she has really pretty art.
Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied with the result.What is your take?

This is a piece I started 2 and a half months ago but never finished.
I used it as a template to practice my rendering and I’m still unsure if I’ll finish this piece, but what do you think about my progress?

For clarification: The top one is the reference image, the bottom one is the modified image.
All changes were drawn by hand in a program called Sketchbook.
I decided to facelift this horrific creature called the Ferrari Luce (it’s Italian, so it’s pronounced “Lootshe”
I think I have to practice making the lines look straight and not so messy.
So, what did I do?
First and foremost, I resized the air intakes in the bumper (the top one is purely for visuals and aerodynamics), making the top one thinner than the bottom one, to prevent the car from looking top heavy.
Then I reshaped these intakes as well to make the appearance more aggressive and more appropriate for a Ferrari, but mainly to create better stance, emphasizing the edges pointing outwards into the ground.
I also elongated the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) LED strips for added aggressiveness and width.
The side skirts hiding the battery now reach higher, making the car look flatter, the side hole thing (that literally has no purpose) is a bit edgier and the rear fenders have been slanted more to, again, give the car a better stance.
But how did this car happen?
Simple: This car wasn’t made by the Ferrari design department.
Instead, Ferrari hired an external product design company called LoveForm, founded by a former Apple product designer and a jewelry designer.
Yes, a product design company.
They never made a car before and the Ferrari design department of course p###ed of by their Bosses decision, so they didn’t help them.
So, LoveForm came up with this amazing product, but horrible car.
I’d buy this as a computer mouse, but not as a Ferrari.
This car was so poorly received, that their stock value immediately fell by 7.8%.
That’s a lot.
But what?!
They’re sold out?!
The Chinese are here to save the day!

Found this OC some time ago, thought she looked cool, so I attacked them.
It was very fun.
Anyway, that were all my attacks.

The bottom one is my attempt to give this thing a facelift and I gotta say, I'm proud of how it turned out.
Well, in terms of the art itself, not the car.
I tried to give some features more of an angle, to give it a better stance, but I've extended every other feature in a way, to counteract this stance, what in the end, made it more agressive looking, but the missing of all the features I painted over made it look less classy, smaller, cheaper and like a BMW M4 rip-off.
But I'm super proud of the art side of things, it looks almost like photoshopped.
I spent a really long time making these rather drastic feature changes blend in as good as possible.
Also, I made this in a free art program called Sketchbook.
Disclaimer: I did not make this entire drawing myself.
I took the upper image as a base and painted the changes seen in the lower image over it.
