Tried to go for a thick paint look! This was super fun, and I got to experiment with lots of brushes and techniques!

It doesn't really look too good, but it's just practice with some rake brushes, so it doesn't matter

Not super proud of this one. I wanna start doing more animal portraits alongside my typical landscapes, and I wanted to see how a cat would look. The proportions are off, and the fur is a little weird, but it's still a little better than I expected.

If I do decide to keep doing animals, I guess this could be a good starting point to see how I've improved

if you have some criticism or tips for this or painting animals, that would be much appreciated :)
