An umbreon unfortunately picked up by trainers involved in illegal pokemon fighting rings. Itβs ears and tail have been cut with scissors, a crude docking, rather than being taped straight as most domestic umbreon ears are(atleast in my au).
EXTRA INFO; TW;; animal abuse
Within my AU some pokemon, like certain dog breeds, need to have their ears taped upwards for their own safety and comfort.
Illegal pokemon fighting rings are illegal for the fact that trainers/handlers will put pokemon against one another based off of brute strength alone rather than certain βmovesβ or βtypesβ. Pokemon are much more susceptible to being harmed and even killed this way, and undergo inhumane modifications by trainers as a result to better their chances at winning and receiving bets.
