HI I HIT THE ChaRacter limitWHHAT

I sat on the roof, Lune sleeping soundly underneath my chair.
It was nighttime, and you could perfectly see al the stars scattered around the sky. This is my favorite place; It’s always so tranquil here.
It was nice to get away from everything once in a while.
I started to yawn until the door to the elevator opened, making me jump.
”Hey, it’s Urbain.” He quietly walked over and smiled warmly. “I knew I’d find you here.”
I blinked and whispered an awkward “Hi.”
Urbain stood behind the coffee table for a moment, before sitting down next to me.
All of a sudden, I felt my face get warm. I looked down at Lune.

We sat there for a while, none of us saying anything.

Urbain softly leaned on my shoulder, his hand on the bench dangerously close to mine.
He seemed to be falling asleep, I think.
He’s so calm. He’s different from how outgoing he usually is. He’s still as warm as he always is. I think I’ve grown more panicked now. Oh fuck.

On my shoulder, it still felt like he was there.
I tried to think of how to respond to that, until Urbain turned around and said a sentence I thought I’d never hear.
“That, and you’re also really pretty.”

I just got shot.

I could feel my face get hot, and I wanted to scream. It was a bit harder to breathe than usual. This is not good. C’mon say something, Brook!! You’re gonna make it super awkward!!!!

“I,” I’m fumbling so bad. “I-Thank you, thank. You.” I slowly stood up too, one arm clutching my other.
My head was spinning.
It’s just a compliment!!!!! Take it!!!
Urbain smiled, and stepped towards me slowly.
Something is going to happen. What do I do??
Before I could think to myself anymore, Urbain hugged me.
He’d done this before, but this time was different.l
My eyes stung. My throat felt like there were barbed wires inside.

He held me close, and he didn’t let go.
As much as I didn’t want to say it, I blurted out “Please don’t let go.” with a catch in my voice.
My hands were slightly shaking, and no matter what I did, I couldn’t —
