I FINALLY HAVE NO WORD LIMIT! ;coughs; Hello hello . . . Here is a long, messy version: I plan on drawing until I die so expect a whole load of art. I never run out of ideas and each idea has a million ideas in itself - so I'm already digging my artistic grave. Yes, my strongest point is dragons; any kind of dragon, I can typically do (even more so with a reference); that includes species, types (Spyro, Toothless, Pokémon, etc), and styles. I usually have moments where I draw a lot of the same thing, then move on, then come back, so, A LOT OF DRAGONS. But I promise eventually there will be VARIETY (it's already starting to show). . . For people, I'm new and inexperienced in all parts - anatomy, poses, clothing, texture - so you'll definitely see lots of improvements and changes - variety! [Edit: Now I am finally beginning to show my style replication skills with anime from multiple different artists, so now you can SEE what I mean] . . . I'm very rusty on my cats - but I used to draw hundreds of them so eventually I'll bounce back with Warrior Cat fanart/inspo, normal cats, wild cats, and then again, different species and styles and types - varietyyy. . . I hope to eventually do scenes (alone and/or collab) and mini-comics (I already have two all set in mind, one with your typical five human buddies livin' life, and the other about a dog/wolf trying to reach the forest - to discover a dark truth. . . The question is, Can I Beat My Laziness? - and the same goes for all my animation ideas) . . . What else what else . . . Oh yes, my second strongest point, still lifes. I have done zero serious still life projects digitally, but I have also traditionally drawn thousands of those, so, eventually eventually you'll get to see me do objects and landscapes, and you'll finally get to see my REAL shading skills . . . On top of that, my replication skills - I can draw any any any drawing and if I really try (which is not often lol) it's almost identical - to the eye, at least. Including this, I can, within a few minutes usually, mimic someone elses style, or learn something I never new of within moments - a huge advantage for an artist! All of this, which leaves yet another million of opportunities . . . I have so many plans and so many hopes and so many art projects to finish and to start and so many more I want to do and so many more things I want to try and discover and learn and attempt and achieve . . .

Hey! I am Reverie. I am getting the hang of digital art and bettering my skills with the hope of continually posting worthy-looking things.

I hope to understand the tools and to use my fullest potential, because right now sketchy art doesn’t cut it (lol).

Commissions (drawn and/or written) and YCHs will be considered if I do more and others like it.

DeviantArt will be my main source for these possible commissions and YCHs, along with comics (big and small), and better works.

I also hope to create a youtube channel for the processes, and my coming animations.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Although I'm not posting as much as I'd like, I have A LOT of unfinished projects waiting around to be finished and posted, along with ones I haven't even started. This includes:
- A silver-golden ring (still life; much detail)
- A brown paper bag (still life; as realistic as possible)
- 5-7 unfinished coloured drawings from the 13+ BASE jam
- At least 10 (not very good) finished artworks from 13+ BASE jam (to put together on one canvas)
- Cats (unrealistic, from the Warrior cats world)
- More dragons (lava, galaxy, white feathered, etc)
- An abstract beach using watercolour tools
- A flower in a dim, sunlit room (one frame from an animation)
- Drawing a person in a different style (on Procreate, trying something new with the colouring)
- A commission (3 characters from Genshin Impact)
- More! (I come up with new stuff almost every day)

. . . At the same time, I am quickly getting more and more familiar with digital art (especially through Procreate), in which I'm learning better methods of colouring, and of using layers and different tools. This will improve my using of Magma, as well.

I prefer the quality of Procreate (and how it records my process), but prefer how the tools feel with Magma, so I'll be doing a mix of the two.

. . . I also plan to start selling bases soon, and eventually YCHs and Commissions, once I establish a payment method and advertisement source. I will also be posting speedpaints of what I do from Procreate, through that source.

In short, although I'm not looking very productive, a lot is coming!

Started as a splash art on @黄身yolk-san(🫪) awesome jam - but I lost my courage haha . . . Wanted to do a full work focused on a pink dragon with a sunny colourful jungle for a while now - but of course: I got lazy.

I finally did a background (the un-lazy plan was to do each individual leaf, with vines and fruits...)

This is a lil 3 hour sketch (1 hour lineart, a bit on rendering and lots on colour) that I may redo properly on Procreate someday. ^^

I think I'll name her Fruitbat...

Also wanted to see how my dragon art would look with what knowledge I'd gathered through anime - I'm super happy, I think I've definitely improved!

I learned so much it's insane . . .
All the subtle details and colours . . . This style surprisingly fit well with mine!

It felt so weird drawing without a base, but using all my peeps art skills combined . . . IM HAPPY (And I'm getting better, thanks to you)
