no, I'm not being a teenager. school IS that hard. school is not just sunshines and rainbows like it was before. it's absolutely hell to go to. if you don't like a popular thing, you're weird. just being a little different gets you called slurs. it gets you mistreated. it gets you tied into rumors that aren't true. it makes you stressed. it ruins mental health. the teachers are either neglectful or mean, there's no in-between. it's rare to get a nice teacher. SO rare. they give you 4 things to work on in an hour. they yell at you for not writing things down. forget your homework? bad grade. not focusing in class is accidental most of the time, but they don't care. they write you up for not doing work when they aren't doing it themselves. school is sexist. they write up girls for self defense but leave boys alone. the people at school will say "oh! I bet you were so lucky!" to a male SA victim. the people at school will harass a girl just because she's pretty. the people at school make fun of people who hurt themselves, or have depression, even though they have no idea what their life is. the people at school make fun of kids with disorders and call them slurs.
so if you don't think school is fucking hard, check again. i'm not being a teen, i'm reacting to how i've been treated there. because school sucks.
