Lisa wasn't afraid. Never in her life had she not been afraid under the protection of her tight-knit family. Her mother and father always came to her aid, she was never alone nor left questioning life's biggest questions. Her parents sheltered her from the world outside, leaving Lisa to grow more attached to the simplicity of the nest that her parents so meticulously built.
That is, until that once perfect family unit came crumbling down. Now she finds herself tossing and turning in her sleep with the sounds of constant yelling and breaking of glass upon hardwood floor. Each night it was like this. She wishes for that time of safety. She reached into the depths of her mind, praying to God for things to go back to the way they were.
That's when, she fell.
Far, far down into the depths of darkness and ended up in an endless maze of yellow halls and fluorescent lights. The smell of earth and mold lingered through the halls, the loud sound of buzzing humming from above. Lisa is a long way from home, and is alone. For the first time in her life, she felt scared.
They like watching people and Them likes playing with people. :)
