lore dump! (what I have so far):

- all the refinery people get new rock related names!
so there wasnt any reason behind nephrite
i just looked for pretty green rock

- her mentor was studying the monolith before taking her on as an assistant but then ███ kidnapped the two of them and stole their work for bad so she basically worked for ███ for a good while before being tasked with project ██ which was very risky and lab go kaboom
- after rising up in lab rank to head of laboratory her assistant possibly was the one who caused the accident and informed ███ she was dead to secure a promotion (or maybe they have another motive?)
- in the explosion c!sprout / nep was working with the nmr machine and one of the compressed gas tanks beeg (60kg tank with high pressure gas inside) fell on top of her and busted her knees oops
- was recovered by one of the refinery members █████ and given a new identity after agreeing to join the team working for the government
- is now part of said team trying to recover the monolith from ███
