I'm trying to learn how to draw human characters since I ussually draw anthromorphic characters. Seeing as most characters are human this would be really helpful for me.

I also want to quickly leave a note on why I haven't been posting for a while!
I've been working super hard on trying to build a community and recover from my recent trauma.
I also much needed the break due to my low social battery.
I must state that I wont be drawing art for a spesific group on the internet anymore. The recent Trauma in my life have caused me to realize the dangerous effects of attaching yourself to a fandom.

Please learn from my mistakes and make sure you distance yourself enough from groups on the internet.

I didn't have anything to post for my birthday due to recent trauma & drama so here's my birthday artwork!

I'm pretty sure i don't have to give any more info on this weapon because its already written down

I made this because July is disability awareness month!

The image forms a simple sunflower shape. The sunflower is a symbol for hidden disabilities like autism. To incorporate autism, the sunflower is made out of infinity loops that weave into each other.

One of the infinity loops is gold. The chemical symbol for gold is Au, the first two letters for the word autism.

Another infinity loop has a zebra print. The zebra is a symbol for hypermobility. It comes from a medical phrase taught to doctors, the phrase is "think of horses, not zebras". It means to look for obvious conditions first instead of jumping to rare conclusions.
If u hear hoofbeats you would rather think of horses instead of zebras and that goes along with the fact hypermobility and EDS can be less common or overlooked. That's why the hypermobile community picked zebras.

The last infinity loop features a flag, specifically the Disability Pride Flag. Each color has a meaning

● Red: Physical disabilities
● Gold: Neurodiversity
● White: Undiagnosed and hidden disabilities
● Blue: Mental illness and psychiatric disabilities
● Green: Sensory disabilities
● Black: people who lost their lives due to neglect, ableism or violence

im working on my own birthday gift behind the scenes so i wont be posting stuff for around 4 - 5 days

Cyprus is the chemical name of copper which is what the weapon is made of
the sunflowers on the weapon are to symbolize hidden disabilities
the spear head is hollowed out to reduce weight
to further reduce weight the weapon is made with copper
this helps pupae carry it around while coping with hypermobility and an iron deficieny
copper also has a impact reduction to stop any high impact from opponents this helps pupaes joints
the vines on the weapon work as a grip to keep it in place while also not cutting her hands
when opponents are slashed the weapon inflicts tetanus
which isnt caused by rust but insead soil that accumlates in crevices
the lovely keychain was made by amber the spider
she used amber with bugs and plants inside to make a kanzashi
on the hilt is pupaes symbol its a sunflower made of infinity symbols
on the keychain thers a bead that looks like venus which goes along with the name morningstar
venus has the nickname morningstar because it rises so early in the night sky

fun fact: Pupaes favourite weapon is a mace

i got bored and noticed there isnt a lot of colour sheets so i drew 1
the japanese text was translated through google translate
