I had my first day of high school today!

Well, I don't know if today really counts or not or if tomorrow's the ACTUAL first day since today's just an orientation. Although it's from 8 to 3 so... I don't really know tbh.

I kind of knew what it would be like since my school is K-12, like I knew the layout and stuff but at the same time there's a lot of stuff I didn't know.

I got an axolotl named Thor in my advisory!! No joke, he's the class pet. I got the advisor I wanted and everyone in my advisory I like except for one person who is a jerk and said the R-Word in health class last year.

And I like the teachers. Well, maybe not one. I'm on the fence about him. He's apparently right-wing and held a CHARLIE KIRK MOMENT OF SILENCE ON 9/11. So I hope I don't end up in his class but that won't be for a while.

So... yeah.

Anyway I don't really have much else to say here except that I'll miss my friends who are still in middle school but at least we're in the same building so I'll still see them sometimes I guess :P

Also I forgot my Warriors book at home dang it. I'm reading Sunrise. Rest in peace Ashfur :( (Ashfur I know you don't end up resting in peace because of the Impostor stuff that should NOT have happened dang it)

Okay, can I rant about how much I hate Brambleclaw?

I’m currently reading Twilight in The New Prophecy, and I HATE Brambleclaw!

He’s even worse than Darkstripe for me right now!

Just kidding, of course. Darkstripe is my all time least favorite Warrior Cats character, but man, I HATE Brambleclaw!

Want to know why?

He is such a hypocrite! He gets mad at Squirrelflight for not trusting him when he’s literally playing a stupid little game called “Dark Forest Apprentice” with his evil family! He’s been so mean to Squirrelflight lately, and I know that that isn’t even the worst thing he does to her! He deserves for Squirrelflight to cheat on him with Ashfur, and he doesn’t deserve for her to choose him!

Spoiler warning: I know all about that Imposter stuff, and I think the Squirrelflight-Ashfur-Stormfur-Brambleclaw love square was very poorly done. I wish Feathertail hadn’t died and that Stormfur had stayed in the Clans. I wish Ashfur hadn’t turned into a psychopath and that Squirrelflight had chosen him, or Stormfur. Really anyone but Brambleclaw. I don’t even know if I’m going to read The Broken Code or not… honestly, poor Ashfur. I blame Hawkfrost for putting ideas into Ashfur’s tiny little brain. Also I ship both SquirrelAsh (in an AU though, that’s the catch) AND SquirrelStorm (the healthiest option, what was Stormfur thinking?!) ANYTHING BUT SQUIRRELBRAMBLE! (I insist on calling it SquirrelBramble, I will not call it BrambleSquirrel because that means Brambleclaw’s name goes first.)

Now we've got Quicksand, Six-Claws's dad who worked in the kitchens before he unfortunately died due to the plague that swept through the SandWing Palace. I think he's an interesting character and it's a bummer that both he and Ostrich died so Six-Claws doesn't have any alive parents. I wonder... if he had another dragonet and it was a male would he name it Quicksand? Fun fact: Quicksand was featured in the official Stickerpedia, but I didn't have it on me when I drew him so I used Qibli's old reference that is inaccurate to Qibli. I gotta say, I like it.

Whew! That was a tough one! Quickdeath, the NightWing assassin that Queen ViIgilance sent after Darkstalker, has A LOT of armor, at least he does in the graphic novel anyway. If I remember correctly, he took a LONG time to draw. But you know what? In the end, it was worth it, because he came out really good.

Eheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh... the man, the myth, the legend, the rizzler himself... Qibli! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Whew, sorry. I went full JMA there. I definitely love Qibli, but not nearly as much as JMA does because that's not possible. And I had such a fun time drawing him! I had to write this a few times, because I had to add Qibli's speckles and snout scar and then this tab kept closing by accident. Also, I listened to the Sing version of "I'm Still Standing" while drawing this because I think that's a great song for Qibli! He's got rizz, as you can see here. And of course I had to draw him winking and doing with his claws because that's something he would do! Also, even though I ship Winterwatcher I feel like Qinter should be canon because they are so funny together and have the best chemistry out of the three.

I must admit, I was a bit on the fence on whether or not I would draw Pyrite, since she's technically NOT a real dragon. I mean, I didn't draw all of Chameleon's forms, and I'm only going to draw Ruby, NOT Tourmaline. However, I decided to draw Pyrite because she has a page on the Wings of Fire Wiki, like how Chameleon has his one page and the descriptions of his different forms are on there, same thing with Queen Ruby (her Tourmaline description is on her page). So, I decided to draw Pyrite, and I had a good time drawing her! I love her color scheme, it's so rare to see a SkyWing with no red. Also, I think she's the best named character in the entire series because not only are her scales the color of the mineral she is named after, but the mineral in question is commonly referred to as "fool's gold," referencing her false identity. (I got that from a JMA meme video btw) Also, I think Peril and Qibli should rewrite the Pyrite spell to be more like the Peacemaker spell and use it on Chameleon. It's a backfire because Chameleon wrote the Pyrite spell and put it on Hailstorm.

Ugh... ergh... ick... another Hate Sink. This time it's Prudence, Foeslayer's abusive mother who appears in Winglets: Runaway. I HATE Prudence, she's such a hypocrite and an a--hole. And she's so abusive to Foeslayer! SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO CUT OFF FOESLAYER'S CLAWS AND DONATE THEM TO THE LIBRARY AS QUILLS! SHE IS SO ABUSIVE! Also she's a hypocrite-- she got p---ed off whenever someone didn't want something she was offering them but then if they wanted it she said they couldn't have it. Arctic should have left her frozen; she would have deserved it! So yeah, FU Prudence.

Here's Pronghorn, the SandWing in the Copper Winglet at Jade Mountain Academy! I think he's cool, although I don't particularly love his color scheme, at least when I drew him I didn't. Actually... now that I think about it it's actually all right. I didn't really like his color scheme when I first drew him but now I actually like it okay. I've noticed some people shipping him with Peregrine, his clawmate, who I drew fairly recently. That's interesting, although why do people always ship clawmates with each other (Moon x Kinkajou, Qibli x Winter which I like, Turtle x Umber, Marsh x Coconut, Anemone x Ostrich, you name it!)

Here's Prickle, Palm's (mostly) identical sister, also known as the mad prisoner. I do NOT like Prickle, and I know that lots of people view her as a tragic character, but let's think about it. She offered her sister shelter when she was on the run, but when the guards showed up she immediately tried to turn Palm in. And I know that Palm got Prickle turned in, but she had an egg to protect! She hadn't even laid her egg yet, so she couldn't just hand it over to Prickle, so she kind of had to do that! And Palm was hoping that they would realize the mistake soon, while Prickle WANTED Palm to be executed even though Palm hadn't done anything! I HATE Prickle, and I think she got what she deserved, honestly. I wish Palm had survived, though. Also Prickle's earrings look like Qibli's earring

Now we have Preyhunter, who, by the way, is NOT a prey-hunter of the Tribe of Rushing Water from Warrior Cats. Completely different character. He, along with Fierceteeth and Strongwings, was part of the villainous trio that schemed to overthrow Glory. I kind of feel sorry for him because he seemed insecure and had a horrible life, but I also hate him for his evil deeds. BUT he's not getting an FU because he doesn't really deserve it, at least not completely. Also he's got the Obsidian Mirror here because he had it in The Brightest Night. His tragic life combined with his sly, evil deeds make him a very interesting villain.

Villain Count: 20

Now, we've got Precipice, the iconic SkyWing animus who enchanted Australia-- I mean, the Dungeon Isle-- millennia ago. At first I thought Precipice was going to be a bad guy, but I think she's not, and she's kind of a tragic character. I really love Precipice, and I really want to see more of her. I do think she was a little cowardly to not stop Retribution and Summit (when I draw those two, they will both get a BIG FU), but I feel sorry for her, too, being forced to use her magic to imprison entire tribes. I hope we get to see more of her someday, she's really interesting. And super cool, too. I had a fun time drawing her, though the earring took a while.

Here's Polar Bear, an IceWing dragonet and Mink's friend in The Dangerous Gift! If we ever get Mink's POV, I want to see Polar Bear. I love his design, and it's kind of ironic that he's a small dragon when real polar bears are absolutely GIGANTIC. Also I got his color palette from a fan-made unofficial reference and I love it!

BUT SERIOUSLY! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ KINKAJOU'S BOOK! I NEED TO FIND OUT MORE! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE COVER REVEAL AND EVERYTHING AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAAAHHHHAHAHHAH!

Fingers crossed that it comes out this year so we can go back to the 2-year release schedule!

Here's Pokeweed, a former member of the PoisonWings. He was one of the dragons who burned Bloodworm Hive, along with Bryony and Hemlock. He's also not as interesting as Bryony or Hemlock. I don't know anything else about him. I'm not too attached to him, either. So... yeah, nothing else to say here.

Here's Platypus, the iconic and VERY funny not-ghost from The Hybrid Prince! I love her, she's basically Kinkajou and Swordtail but louder than the two of them combined, and angrier. When I first heard that there was going to be a character named Platypus in The Hybrid Prince, I assumed she would be a MudWing. I also assumed Taipan would be a SandWing, Dugong would be a SeaWing, and Royal would be a RainWing. But... I was completely wrong. I hope Platypus gets a book in Arc 4, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she does. I love her design, this seems to be more or less the widely agreed upon design for Platypus. Fingers crossed for a Platypus book!

Edit: I actually DON'T see Platypus getting a book, at least not in Arc 4. Kinkajou is going to have book 17, and I suspect that the other protagonists will be Mulberry, Quokka, and Peacemaker. But she could get a Winglet!

Here's Piranha, the SeaWing commander from The Lost Heir and Winglets: Assassin. However, in Assassin she was Tempest's third-in-command. So I wonder what happened to the second-in-command? For some reason, Piranha doesn't appear in the graphic novel but she still has a ref on the Wiki. Also, I added a few more scars just because, well, why not? Gosh, I would NOT want to be Piranha, she got so many injuries!

Here's Pineapple, the RainWing from the stealth team to Pantala! I love him so much, he's so cool and I love his color scheme! I love his ship with Jambu even though I also ship Jambu and Liana. Well, I guess it's okay to ship both, right? Also I think my headcanon design for Pademelon that I created may have been slightly influenced by Pineapple. I, personally, like Pineapple's design on the Wings of Fire Wiki better than in the Stickerpedia, where his blues are replaced with teals/greens.

Here's Pike, the SeaWing at Jade Mountain Academy tasked with secretly guarding Anemone. He's not my favorite, because he's a bit of a bully except to Anemone and Tamarin, but I don't hate him and I like his design, especially against the backdrop I think he looks really cool. He does have a compassionate, caring, loyal side, though, particularly to Tamarin after her injury and Anemone. So he's NOT getting an FU because he doesn't really deserve it, at least not completely.
