MIRACLEs

Colorized this one in Procreate, though I did the linework entirely in Magma! :) I’ve had issues with Magma booting me out of fully colorized drawings while I’ve worked on finishing touches, so I just caved and made equivalents to my favorite Magma brushes in the program I know won’t constantly reload 🫠

A bit of a gore warning for this one - this is the main character of a novel I’m currently working on, my main project as of now; he is Prince Roh, and the poor guy has been through too much :’) I am very happy with how this drawing turned out, though; it was a ton of fun experimenting with horrific ways to combine human and elk anatomy! His character design initially came to me in a dream, and it’s just been awesome building on the framework my subconscious sent; my favorite part to design were his hands, I love their weirdness to death! All in all, I think he turned out great, definitely a fun experimental drawing!

Fanart of this wonderfully designed Kraken - original character by @Halsium1962 - thank you for your fanart of my odd dolphin Warrior man, you absolutely cooked and I couldn’t resist tackling Taikai (or Talkal - apologies if I’m spelling it wrong :’) as thanks! Human faces are a bit out of my usual range, but it was a very fun challenge! >:D

A detailed drawing I did of Emperor Vaughn, one of my Nemocný characters - he’s easily one of my favorite OCs, and features as one of the main protagonists in a novel I’m currently working on :)

He’s based on several species of hornbill (primarily great hornbills, one of two of my favorite animals <3), though he’s actually an Quaking Aspen Nemocný, and here he’s showing his tree bits proudly :3 although he’s usually more keen to brutally carve them off (and he’s typically dressed head to toe in thick clothing and armor, I just thought I’d draw him in something cute)!

I love his design so much, he’s such a pretty lad; it’s especially nice because I can hide his arms in his immense expanse of hair and totally get away with it, ehhehehehe (it’s illegal I know) - I drew the linework in magma and colored him in Procreate this time around, and I think I shall be doing that for future works, as well

Fanart of the fabulous James! :D I had to cut it a bit short, as it’s 3:30 a.m. and I am just about ready to collapse, though it was a ton of fun draining fanart for this very handsome fellow (still, I’m sorry I couldn’t polish him further!)

I absolutely ADORE his character design - he is the coolest, and thus, as a person who writes entire universes around their OCs, I am legally obligated to ask @Marcus: what is his lore? He definitely seems to have a lot going on!

@Zimbooo (creator of Averen - the fabulous fellow in the bottom left corner :)) As thanks for drawing with me last Friday for at least 12 hours until 6 in the morning to create a positively peak comic about a tree bird and a brat rock interacting and sassing one another! :’)

Drawing with you was easily the most fun I’ve ever had on any Art Jam ever; I had to have laughed out loud at least 20 times, and I appreciate it so much - thank you; I have certainly NOT gotten my fix, so, as a token of my appreciation, I trudged through the trenches of gem hair on Magma (first time trying it - I absolutely adore doing it) and the absolute pain of drawing a human face - I certainly hope you enjoy this piece depicting our respective children :)

At any rate, 10/10, will INDEED be drawing this gem baddie again

Apologies that this is a bit late - thanks so much for participating in this jam you all! It was so much fun getting to see some truly incredible character designs (THIS IS why I love machines and knights so much folks - you're all so creative with them, too!), and best of all, see kitties interacting with them :D it's absolutely hilarious to be there were either cats sleeping and cuddling or full on attacking with no in-between - that is something I most certainly adore :') (also, classic cat behavior)!

I drew everything clustered in the bottom left corner :D I tried to fit a few knights in there, though I admittedly focused on my machine OCs - I also have to shout out bs0tc and Ssharkyy (thank you two :) it was super fun working with you both!

You will dance for me. You will dance until you break.

Don't you hate it when a giant, sentient meat tree (who also happens to be the father of your adoptive son) descends from the heavens to take control of your body and force you to become his personal puppet? Such a relatable situation! And it's the unfortunate reality of this poor fellow - until he finds his axe.

This is my very first piece made entirely on Magma, so I thought I'd post it to commemorate the occasion :)
