The Sk3ddadler

Hi hello I am back!!!! I'm not going to be checking up on my feed as much as I used to, but I will occasionally come back on here to check on views, likes, all that good stuff. Just trying to center my life around Christ instead of my phone and outlets of entertainment. See ya around!

LOOK AT THE VIDEO LINK AT THE BOTTOM

"But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

I made some new art! It's been tough finding motivation or inspiration while school's going on but we prevail anyways! Had a couple failed attempts at making art for God, and then he finally pointed me in the right direction, and I'm honestly so grateful because it was starting to get discouraging; the fact that I just couldn't draw right.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with the lighting on this one, and it just shows me that I'm not done learning and growing in my art skill. I'm really excited to get better so that I can realize God's vision for my talents better!!!

This one is actually an 'animation' of sorts, but more so just a looping video with changing words on the heart

I’m going to be taking a long break from magma. I need to decentralize my life from my phone and a lot of the time when I’m bored, I’ll find myself scrolling through art on here or checking my statistics. Y’all are genuinely a great community but I can’t keep these same habits up. I’m not sure when I’ll come back, so I’ll see ya when I see ya, goodbye <3

Realized I was missing a requirement for my Dance badge for AHG so I went ahead and did it! Had to design a dance outfit for a genre of my choosing. I like it :3

Time Taken: 1 hour and 53 minutes

I’ve been experimenting with a style similar to realism lately when I get bored in class and I’m liking it so far!!!!

this is the digital version, but I like the traditional version better, go check it out!

this is the traditional version, digital ver. will be up in a couple seconds

i do like this version better cuz the pencil texture makes it look a lot more messy and natural which I like :D

I’ll probably still use both Zilli and this sona, which I’ll call Sarah, interchangeably, but this is mainly just for the formality of having an official sona. I really liked the profile pic I drew for ArtFight 2026 on my profile card, so I made it into a full detailed sona! She doesn’t have any fur, even though she has paws, and she has a tail, which is the chain of Kandi stars that you see

p.s. I actually do have that shirt irl

Time Taken: 3 hours, 53 minutes

“I trust in Your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because He is so good to me.”

Anotha one!

don’t have much to say for this one, but the Jesus design is heavily inspired by @10yrsy’s work on YouTube, and they’ve really helped me out in hard times just by continuing to make art to glorify God, go check them out if you haven’t :]

also I have had King Jesus by Nikos Politis stuck in my head for like the past two days it’s crazy, it might be one of my new favorite songs tbh

First time drawing curls, but I think they turned out pretty good :D

Time Taken: 4 hours, 42 minutes

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Wowza! Two Bible verse art entries in one week, tis a fruitful harvest

Anyways, I was listening to Heart it Races(Cover Version) by Dr.Dog and just like how I get inspiration for my animations, it inspired me to make this. Really reminds me that even in the midst of panic or distress (represented here by the storm, chest clutching, and the repeated ‘heart it races alone’ in the background) the Holy Spirit is always there. It doesn’t always make us stop feeling the stress, anxiety, or panic, but it gives us the hope and reassurance that someone who knows what they’re doing, will do what they think best with those feelings. Even though the Holy Trinity is all one person, I like to represent the Holy Spirit in almost a vapor kinda way, and in this case, it’s taken the form of Jesus. I also imagine it like a dove too, but fun thing about the Bible is that appearances are up to interpretation when it comes to making art :D

Time Taken: 5 hours, 24 minutes

Verse for those who can’t read the light text: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Newest addition to the Bible verse series after forgetting about it for like 4 months to work on my animation and ref sheets

times been tough lately so I gotta just take some time to draw for God sometimes

Time Taken: 2 hours 29 minutes

Sorry to have to use a google doc, it's hard to find ways to share videos on magma.

Anyways! The animation is finally done :DDDD
It took me a while, but surprisingly it took less active work time that my last animation, so maybe i'm getting better at drawing quicker! It's not the best, but I don't mind, I gotta make not the best art to get better after all. I experimented with anatomy, lighting and perspective for this one, and I've NEVER used anatomy or perspective before, so that's why it looks a lil janky.

This animation is kind of a representation of my own battle with addiction, and how eventually, after so many months (maybe even a year) of arguing over whether or not i actually had a problem, I finally gave it up. I relinquished control and just let God have it and me.

I pray that this animation reaches the right people, God bless y'all <3

EXPECT AN ANIMATION TO BE POSTED BY TONIGHT!!!!!
THE ONE I WAS TALKING ABOUT A MONTH AGO IS ALMOST FINISHED!!!!

I won’t mess up the Google Drive link this time I swear 🥺

My user isn’t actually Zilly but uh, I like to be called that :D

I also wasn’t planning on posting this but everyone else was so I just went ‘eh, why not’

My character slots aren’t really that flattering

My actual user is TheSk3ddadler, https://artfight.net/~TheSk3ddadler

I’m working on another animation so y’all won’t see me posting much, if any, art while I’m doing so. You can expect it to be done uhhhhh, at max in 3 months hopefully. Trying out two completely new things to me, anatomy and perspective so it’s gonna take me a lot longer than my last animation

Lowkey depressionmaxxing right now, but it’s aight cuz I got God with me

Lil verse that’s going through my head durin’ all this
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Feeling really good right now tonight (after a kinda bad wave of depression and overthinking), thank the Lord for all that is good in my life right now!!! Even all the bad I wanna thank him for, cuz one day ik all the bad will create something good in my life, wooohooooo!!!!!

also this is your daily reminder to unplug from everything for a bit, don’t even have to go outside, just take like 15 minutes to break away from every noise, distraction, and frustration. Take a moment to breathe and pray. Just let ur thoughts flow and chill for a while, have a good day y’all!

Just did my first ever anatomy study today and I think it turned out pretty good :D

if any of ya wanna use this study as a reference or for tracing or anything, go ahead, I doubt someone will, seeing as this is my first attempt, but eh, might as well put the option out there

Video I learned from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OV_fT0Ego4

been remaking a lot of my reference sheets and i wanna show em off, this one's Ryuma!
https://artfight.net/character/edit/6343839/images

I got just one more ref sheet to remake for ArtFight, woohoooo!!!!!!!!!!
