I’m going to be taking a long break from magma. I need to decentralize my life from my phone and a lot of the time when I’m bored, I’ll find myself scrolling through art on here or checking my statistics. Y’all are genuinely a great community but I can’t keep these same habits up. I’m not sure when I’ll come back, so I’ll see ya when I see ya, goodbye <3

Realized I was missing a requirement for my Dance badge for AHG so I went ahead and did it! Had to design a dance outfit for a genre of my choosing. I like it :3

i do like this version better cuz the pencil texture makes it look a lot more messy and natural which I like :D

I’ll probably still use both Zilli and this sona, which I’ll call Sarah, interchangeably, but this is mainly just for the formality of having an official sona. I really liked the profile pic I drew for ArtFight 2026 on my profile card, so I made it into a full detailed sona! She doesn’t have any fur, even though she has paws, and she has a tail, which is the chain of Kandi stars that you see

don’t have much to say for this one, but the Jesus design is heavily inspired by @10yrsy’s work on YouTube, and they’ve really helped me out in hard times just by continuing to make art to glorify God, go check them out if you haven’t :]

also I have had King Jesus by Nikos Politis stuck in my head for like the past two days it’s crazy, it might be one of my new favorite songs tbh

Anyways, I was listening to Heart it Races(Cover Version) by Dr.Dog and just like how I get inspiration for my animations, it inspired me to make this. Really reminds me that even in the midst of panic or distress (represented here by the storm, chest clutching, and the repeated ‘heart it races alone’ in the background) the Holy Spirit is always there. It doesn’t always make us stop feeling the stress, anxiety, or panic, but it gives us the hope and reassurance that someone who knows what they’re doing, will do what they think best with those feelings. Even though the Holy Trinity is all one person, I like to represent the Holy Spirit in almost a vapor kinda way, and in this case, it’s taken the form of Jesus. I also imagine it like a dove too, but fun thing about the Bible is that appearances are up to interpretation when it comes to making art :D

Anyways! The animation is finally done :DDDD
It took me a while, but surprisingly it took less active work time that my last animation, so maybe i'm getting better at drawing quicker! It's not the best, but I don't mind, I gotta make not the best art to get better after all. I experimented with anatomy, lighting and perspective for this one, and I've NEVER used anatomy or perspective before, so that's why it looks a lil janky.

This animation is a representation of my own battle with addiction, and how eventually, after so many months (maybe even a year) of arguing over whether or not i actually had a problem, I finally gave it up. I relinquished control and just let God have it and me.

I pray that this animation reaches the right people, God bless y'all <3
