Word has spread, this goofy scenario comes courtesy of an adorable little ongoing OC RP mashover...poor Gink...For the enchanting table translations, its: Enderman1: "Hey, Isn't there someone looking for that weird new hostile mob over there??" Enderman 2: "Don't remind me. they say it's called a 'Gark'. I think it's territorial. or maybe diseased..."

My classes and job internship officially have me by the throat now QmQ.

I fr need to think of a name for this guy, but im happy with how the water came out! Prob going to make him look a little less bloodthirsty while drawling him looking forward thou (Shiver me timbers)

I'm still workshopping name for this mad lad, but in regards to how I interpret selkies, there's a few!

I gave up on properly recreating the plaid patterns on the bottom outfit reference and went off script, (TOO MANY LINES TT)...but all in all I'm happy with how things turned out! my Pinterest was lowkey cooking with these recs, but hopefully sometime in the future I'll be able to properly shade/draw clothing folds and understand how lighting impacts them without references as fashionable as these

After humanizing a few of my favorite mobs I had the idea to humanize this smelly dude of mine! was reeeeally fun playing with the design and I absolutely love coloring in grass.

FYI, Gink is an Albino enderman, otherwise known as the rare inverse enderman colors which I wanted to translate over to a POC human design with albinism, he is NOT a white dude with locs! XD

This absolutely FABULOUS looking dude belongs to @yojjlepip ! This guy looks SO freaking cool, but genuinely, where in the world did he learn to do his Lips and eye liner?? and how does one achieve it is the bigger question. Go over & check them and this dude out!

First we mine, then we craft...
Reaaallly wanted to practice my design skills, so two week Minecraft faze really came in clutch here for these fun lil doodles of my favorite mobs!
(Yes. I have a fondness for the spookier mobs.)
Not much to say design wise that isn't being conveyed other than that Phantom would be the shortest of them here (They're probably on a stepping stool or something XD)

Really happy with how the colors came out! Hopefully I can get more practice with lighting in the future, but this lovely OC belongs to @P3RS0N , Go check em out!

I've been CLAWING at the bars of my enclosure for Sea of sorrow DLC to release this year. BUT TILL THEN, I'll be occasionally making some HK & SilkSong doodles!

I finally managed to flush out this guy's backstory some more in a neat lil progression of time (Might draw more of Vancov in present day pharloom later on if I have the time)

Flushed out backstory:
Vancov was not born native to the Citadel, instead belonging to a wandering tribe before his father- who was entranced by the song coming from below- began the trek of pilgrimage to find its source. (Unintentionally dragging a young Vancov with him.)

After getting separated, Vancov was left to complete the remainder of the climb alone, latching onto Religion/song as a sole comfort before eventually earning entry into the citadel where he was re-named and raised into becoming part of the choir.

From an early age Vancov showed exceptional talent in song and combat, which lead to him being promoted to join higher ranks within the choir's militaristic order. (This eventually led to him agreeing to be one of the many bugs to have silk injected directly within their shell, causing a massive increase of size, strength, and lifespan. It also marked the moment he was promoted to a Grand Reed.)

As years passed whilst he continued to serve the citadels war to push out neighboring kingdoms, age began to take its toll on him. This led him to take up more silk to try keeping his vitality, before eventually, deciding to take up the use of automata prosthetics and body modifications once his age began interfering with his contributions.

Since his accession in becoming more machine than bug, he had stood among the highest chain of command within the choir alongside the conductors. Using his long history of combat to command the choir in upkeeping the citadels reign.
Even now in present day, despite the haunting plaguing Pharloom, he acts out the will of Grandmother silk with the deepest of devotion. Fully believing with every fiber of his being, that the suffrage of lower class bugs treatment within the citadel is a necessary evil for the greater good of a Pharloom kept eternal.

First we silk, then we song...
For a long time now I've really wanted to make a silksong oc, and although I've missed out on putting one up for Artfight as well as peak Silksong hype, better late then never! Plus I could NOT get the idea of this aura farming ahh design out of my head.

Basic lore info that I'm still figuring out:
Choirmaster Vancov served as the highest chain of command besides the conductors in the citadel, acting as a war general who commanded the choir in defense and attacks. Despite the haunting now plaguing Pharloom, he acts out the will of grandmother silk with the deepest blind devotion, still possessing the ability to command the haunted choir to her will.
