hey guys wassup
pronouns are she/her/they/them/it/its so I am a therian if you don't know what a therian is then WELP- jk. Therianthropy is an identity where an individual feels a deep, intrinsic connection to a specific non-human animal, known as a theriotype. This identity can be a significant part of a person's life, and a supportive community of fellow therians exists both online and in person. Unlike a hobby, therianthropy is an involuntary identity, similar to gender or sexuality, meaning it is not a choice. A common misconception is that therians are the same as furries. Furries are fans of anthropomorphic animals and see their "fursona" as a roleplaying character. Therians, however, identify as the animal itself on a non-physical level. The cause of therianthropy can be interpreted in different ways. Some feel it is a psychological phenomenon related to neurology or identity formation, while others attribute it to spiritual causes like reincarnation. Some therians feel species dysphoria, a sense that their human body is the wrong species. This can cause feelings of sadness or a longing for the physical form of their theriotype. Also I love Hazbin hotel and mlp! (my little pony)
