this is my opinion, but, from what i've heard and understood throughout the series, i think it would have made more sense if jax was simply a guy with fragile masculinity. this whole trans canonization moment made it seem like if people don't transition they will stay a bad person, and that just makes no sense to me. men with a fragile masculinity shouldn't just aim straight to "you're trans". his talk with ribbit when he mentioned his dad seemed to lean more towards him wanting to be like his father for approval. but again, this is my opinion. no hate towards anyone.

@niledrawss absolutely. i wish they'd at least provide some explanation on it, otherwise it just seems like goose just wanted to make it this way despite the story not adding up
