Case File MIC-019 CRYPTID NO.007 - Michigan Dogman

FIRST CONTACT - NOV-07-1887 We received reports of a brutal murder in Central Northern Michigan. After inspection we discovered that multiple families had been mutilated and chunks of their bodies had been missing as if someone had been eating them before we showed up. One agent recalls quickly seeing a pair of glowing eyes off in the near by woods but upon inspection could find no sign of what we now know is a Dogman. We wouldn't receive reports of these Dogmen until 10 years later in 1897. Till this day we only receive reports of these creatures and their large pack hunts on years ending in 7. The only acception being REDACTED

ABILITIES - The Michigan Dogman are seen as pack hunters for the most part, leaving one member to lure their prey into secluded areas where they the. Attack with their razor sharp teeth and 3 inch long claws. Dogmen have incredible senses and have been noted to have a form of Tremor or Danger sense that allows them to know when something is sneaking up on them. They have been noted to smell prey up to 5 miles away if they've been marked and can hear noises up to a Mile. Dogmen limbs are observed to be incredibly strong allowing them to cleave through solid rock and metal with their claws and have noted them leaping up to 2 stories high. Feral Dogmen have been noted to have additional abilities that we have labeled "Blood Thirst" where their abilities are enhanced when they are cornered making them even stronger, faster, and more aware of everything around them.

THREAT LEVEL - 9/10 - Though Dogmen don't have the most dangerous set of abilities, the way they use them and the level of intelligence they have been seen to display have marked them one of the most dangerous Cryptids in America. They are comparable to SQU-001 and are only to be handled by Specialist class agents with direct experience with Threat Level 9 or 10 Cryptids. Dogmen are cunning, dangerous, and until recently with the acquisition of REDACTED we knew little about them. DO NOT ENGAGE.
