Saw a character on Pinterest and thought they looked pretty, so I drew them? I have no idea who the OG creator is, because this is Pinterest! But yeah, remembered I have other brushes and the opacity setting exists, so that's nice, I guess.

Drew Black Sapphire x Silverbell because...I don't know, I wanted to? Also, tried a new way to shade, love it, probably not gonna use it in like 3 projects from now but that's for later me to decide :)
Rendering Silverbell's metal bits and hair was ridiculously fun, though! Same with Sapphire's gem thingy, I like shiny things what can I say?

Taking a painting class, that's pretty fun. Teacher complimented me at parent teacher conferences so that's also neat. Uh, I'm taking IB and Spanish. Wanted to do French but the teacher retired last year? IB track is way better in my opinion, everyone interacts with classwork more. Also I get to wear headphones and overall feel less infantilized!

The new episodes are crazy, yeah? Made me cry a few times, made me a little nauseous with panic once but that's okay. I got Nether Queen and Asphodel Cookie! Fun fact about her, the asphodel fields are a place in the Greek Underworld, along with Tartarus. Funner fact, there's around 5 rivers, including the Styx! I like Greek mythology very much!

Actually happy with this one yayy even though it only took a day (maybe 5 hours?)

Lantern is in the same universe as Polaris, being one of the Watchers. Watchers are divine messengers, some having tails, some having wings. It usually depends on personal preference and can be actively changed at will. Lantern here seems to have a tail at the moment....because I didn't plan for drawing wings but that's neither here nor there...
Lantern is one of fhe calmest and quietest Watchers my main character of this setting, Fjord (who I'll draw next after maybe a short break) has ever met. Given that he's only met 3, though, it might not be too uncommon for them to be so quiet?

Anyways, this is Polaris the artificer tabaxi! Tabaxi in my fantasy setting are able to see divine creatures (such as the divine messengers called Watchers) even when many other mortals cannot. Because of this, they are considered semi-divine or in certain religions (most notably Daemonic and Dragonkin religions) as descendants from the Gods, who they call Makers
