OMG I haven't posted in a billion years - sorry guys! I've been behind on schoolwork so.... yeah ;w; And, STORM! OMG, IM SO SORRY I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE STONEWING PALACE!!!!! ILL GET ONTO THAT SOON TRUST! ToT

I was going for thunderclouds - I ended up doing ripples. It is now my wallpaper :] Feel free to use it - just PLEASE mention me! This was quite fun to make :]

I decided to make a Tutorial on how to draw dragons (in my style, there are other ways to draw them.) This is my general process when it comes to the upper body - sometimes different angles or expressions, but same base shapes. It took me, like, TWO YEARS, to learn how to draw them okay. Keep going! Art is a muscle - the more you excersize and stretch it, the stronger it gets <3

OKAY! SO, I have now started my own 'book' (I guess) and THIS... Is now my favourite character :] Her name is Kyra (made up name?) and she is 16. This took 2115 brush strokes: and now I'm going to bed cuz I'm tired :] Hope you guys like it!

Okay, to be truthful... I draw eyes a lot. I mean, a lot a lot. Way to much, tbh, but I like them! I just draw the general line art and leave it at that, I don't use any bases or map it out beforehand. These eyes were made on one layer only (not including the background). I tried to draw different expressions, which I used a randomizer wheel for :P

For me: This piece screams "What life can, will, could, and would be." It sorta feels peaceful and lonely and quiet and a LOT of words I don't have time for

This piece took only two layers, with 1723 brush strokes :)

I. Love. EYES!
Personally, i often draw eyes, studying their shape, direction, and soul (if that makes sense). Eyes can tell us so much on who another person is. Well, on art sometimes anyway. I think the best kind of drawings are when you KNOW what someone is feeling, as well as their expression.

Yes, eyes are HARD. But they are also beautiful. They are windows to the soul for a reason :)
