about
Chronically tired 17yr old artist based in NA, I'm constantly doing studies of other artists, and I'll share those studies plus my study notes here!
Hosting jams every Saturday morning! (Please note: my time zone is GMT-7).
(Currently on Hiatus and will not be hosting or posting)
Master Study artist for this week: N/A (I will put a name here once I start up again.)
A brief explanation as to what my Master Studies jams are:
Every week I choose an artist out of a list I've created. I'll then study the artist for a week (or longer depending on the complexity of the artist's style). At the end I'll compile what I've learned into easily readable notes, which I'll then share here on Magma. Finally to end it off, I'll host a jam (Saturday mornings) where we will attempt to re-create a piece by the artist! Or replicate the artist's style in your own piece.
All skill levels welcome! I'll make sure to pick references for a wider range of skill levels. However, do keep in mind that it will probably be difficult, these are typically professional artists with complex elements to their art.
Got any questions? or just want some advice? Send me a DM! I'll try to reply within a couple days!
There's only two limitations in the pursuit of art, your imagination, and your willpower.
Of course don't push yourself into burnout though! :D
I'd like to start writing posts about common struggles artists can face, such as: burnout, comparison, and other issues. Got any ideas/questions about it? Feel free to DM me!

Looks like a blank canvas!
This artist hasn't shared anything yet. Stay tuned for the artist's first masterpiece.
