I’ve been getting more DMs lately from joining more art spaces/public chats. I appreciate the support, but private 1-on-1 chatting can make me uncomfortable.
PLEASE DO NOT DM ME FOR CASUAL CHAT / JOKES / FRIENDSHIP unless:
• You’re stated in my bio
• We’re already friends/moots
• I follow you and regularly interact with your posts
• We’ve collabed or interacted before
• We frequently talk in a group chat (please keep the conversation there)
Please also don’t DM me asking for free art, sending random canvas invites, or expecting us to become friends immediately. Compliments are appreciated, but please don’t expect a full conversation after I say thank you.

I mainly use Magma for drawing, not chatting, so keeping up with lots of private conversations gets tiring for me. Magma sometimes feels more like Discord nowadays, and that makes me uncomfortable.
I’m not trying to cut anyone off or say that everyone who DMs me is rude. This is just a general post about my boundaries. Please read my bio before messaging me.
Also, if I block you, please don’t take it personally. Sometimes I simply don’t feel comfortable talking to someone privately. Blocking is a basic boundary, and it doesn’t necessarily mean I dislike you.
