Draw your own monster! It can be scary, cute, funny, or just plain weird. Then use the COMMENT TOOL to add a short description of it, its name, where it lives, and its weakness.

Drawing with purpose together.
Here, we focus on collaborative art pieces, especially comics, hosted by me or yourself. Let's draw together!
Here, I host Easy Level Comics, comics jams in general, and some other collaborative works. Here you also may host collaborative jams. Below are a few examples of the work we've been producing together here. You're welcome to join in on any of the art jams here because here we draw together with purpose. None of that free draw stuff or other aimless drawing. Here we inspire one another with storytelling and purposeful drawing. I look forward to sharing the canvas with you.

@Everyone The OC survival comic jam is done!
Starting with plane crash, a cave shelter, a spirit that makes things colder instead of warmer, and a very normal meal at the end.
Thanks to everyone who jumped in and contributed, really appreciate it.
More groups will get their turn in future rounds. No fixed date yet, just whenever it's ready!
Here's the finished comic.
@Everyone Remember the Draw a Character jam? Draw a Character
Time for the surprise!
Introducing: Unprepared - A 2-Item Survival Comic Jam
The plane crashes into the mountain. Everyone's alive, but their bags? Burned to ash. All they have left are the two items tied to them. Now they're stranded in the most dangerous forest in the world, and they need to survive together.
This is the first group, randomly picked from everyone who joined the draw a character jam:
(Barn Owl) @grace_10
(Riko) @henson
(E.G.24) @Dahattar 123
(Kali) @Roy
(Bonk) @PETE ZAH
(Crystal) @Starr
(Uni the Sea Urchin) @Tlels
More groups will get their turn in future comic survival jams. No fixed schedule, just whenever the next one's ready!
The jam is set up and ready, but it won't open until tomorrow — there's a countdown on the thumbnail so you can see exactly when it goes live for you. Just a heads up a day early so nobody misses it or come join whenever you are free!

So cool
@Everyone That's a wrap on Draw a Character!
42 characters in one canvas, that's a lot. Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed. If your character still needs a name or items added, the art jam still open.
One thing to keep in mind: submitting your character here means other participants may draw and use your OC in the comic jams coming up. You're lending your character to the story, everyone shares creative control once things get going.
With this many characters, one story wouldn't do them justice, so instead, they've been randomly split into multiple groups, and each group will get their own comic jam over time with same one theme. No fixed schedule, just whenever each one's ready. I'll use scheduled art jams and announce it on Comics feed to notify everyone when the next one goes live.
No spoilers on the theme yet, but let's just say... pack light, because things are about to get chaotic for them.
@Everyone New Easy Level Comic jam open with first panel created by @cooldriver10 . https://magma.com/d/QQO8ZiV2ft
Draw an original character - full body character. You don't need to color it, just a black and white drawing.
One box per participant.
Next to your character, please label:
- Their name
- Draw and label 2 items they carry that might be useful (choose wisely... you never know what they might need)
Heads up: these characters may be used in a surprise comic jam later! It's a mystery for now, but not every character may make it into the final story(I have made some adjustments by splitting into groups and possible multiple comic jam in the future, so everyone's character will get their moments in turn), so think of this as a fun character exercise first, surprise cameo second. No pressure!
Keep your character and item info clear so everything stays easy to reference later.
@rryvern sure!
@There Is A Name theres one free spot if you want to claim it now
@Everyone Challenge. copying the COMIC TEMPLATE board found in the Art Lobby board tab, open a new jam here in the artspace, and create a comic page using the panel of the robot at the top of this page https://magma.com/d/yJRToXo0jF Feel free to get help making the comic page. Or you can use your own comic page layout. Also feel free to message me for any help with it as well. When I can, I will come to help you out. At the moment, I'm at work.
@jamie's art house 🍁🦊🎃 i see.
I wanted to share my oneshot comic I made last year for a monthly comic competition, the theme was Love.
Two survivors. One crashed ship. A desert planet with no way home.
Kai and Lyara have been stranded for a month, just the two of them trying to stay alive. Lyara misses her family and nearly give up. Kai just wants to find a way to go back home. But surviving together has a way of changing things.
This is my take on what love can mean, not just the romantic kind.
8 pages oneshot comic. Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback, that's what this space is for!
https://magma.com/d/a2rtk4cWrc (You can also access the comic on Active Comics folder!)
(Tips: For better reading experience, if the pages and the dialogue look blurry or you think one of the pages look corrupt, you might need to use the arrow and double click on the pages to see them in better resolution)
@There Is A Name @Doer thank you for the feedback!
Hwy it was a very good comic. I like the sense of the unknown elements of the setting and situation. I do often enjoy a space story. Maybe i shoukd try sometime.
peak!
Beautiful work.
