I hope so.
I'm listening to it again and i felt this... want to share my love for this song.
This song is sentimental to me.
It always brings me genuine joy when i hear it. It brings me joy when i hum it. When i think it. When i remember the video. When i remember what it represents.
It's a tribute to the Vocaloid community which i honestly really joined only recently. Yeah, I listened to vocaloid before, for years actually, but only a few months ago i actually opened my eyes to see the beauty of the fans and producers. The passion that bursts from these virtual singers. How they sing its creators thoughts and feelings. It really makes my heart feel a certain way. A nice and warm way.
Machine Love feels nostalgic to me. The music video stars so many talented artists with different means of art expression. And I love that.
It always brings me back to the days when I was just discovering the interent as a small kid who doodled shitty drawings of pokemon and i was watching so many MAPs (multi animator projects).
They honeslty made my love for art grow then. I loved watching them and seeing all the creative ways people would draw cats and ocs and characters from media i was just getting into.
That nostalgia always makes me feel happy I kept going with art. From a small hobby to a dream of achieving something great in life when I grow up.
When I listened to the Machine Love Medley remix I felt that warmth again. That passion again. The way so many talented producers and artists came together to create something beatiful for Jamie and the community. It makes me shed a tear. A song so sentimental to me got a tribute. A tribute of a tribute. I like to call this project a MPP, kinda like an MP3.
But this song not onky enveloped feelings of nostalgia to me.
This song made want to create music aswell. To dig up the old keyboard from the basement and try again. I still haven't done that but I soon will. Beacuse, I want to share my love of creation with everyone. I want to share what I've got. Share what I want.
