There's this new girl from Japan in my school and we've been trading snacks. (She's a great artist btw) She gave me these wafer thingies with green tea flavored filling today and they were SO GOOD. (I don't even prefer green tea flavored things!)

Just came back from carowinds. Performed in the morning and had way too much caffeine and then convinced the girl I was with to get chinese food which had like the best price. The orange chicken was really good and they had cream cheese rangoons so I got some.

We also went on this circle roller coaster and got the highest rating for band and orchestra (orchestra is better tho bc I'm in it, truuuuust)

Also my wrist was lowkey hurting so I asked for for like three band aids and this one lady is just like, "ok where does it hurt, show me" and I show her my very obviously self harmed wrist and I'm just like "I banged it really bad and the, like, wood railing" and she's just like "ok are you over 18?" Uh...no. "ok we have to call your parents, ok?" "I-I just need a couple bandaids..." "yea but it's standard medical practice" (my gym teachers don't give a shit when I take like 20 bandaids from them so idk bro. like ik it's not the same place but like that's just kinda stupid.) "You know what, I think I can tough it out" and I'm sort of backing towards the exit "We just need your mom's phone number" "BYE!!!"

I was not about to get exposed. So yea great Saturday other than that.

These flowers often symbolize death or tragedy. By shining a spotlight on the silhouette of the flowers, this art seems to convey that death is given the spotlight, but details are never said (which may be why they are silhouettes). I don't exactly know my thoughts at the time of this work's creation, but they certainly weren't good if you consider the meaning. For colors, red represents intense emotion. By making the floral silhouettes red, I most likely wanted to convey that death is often spotlighted in the most blatant, wrong ways. It is disregarded (background flowers) and faded (falling fuzzy petals) by the media after it loses its shock value. There's also a possibility that the darkness surrounding the piece represents the pinhole vision presented to us by (mostly every) type of media dealing with death.

Hehehehe I'm having such a fun weekend

so yesterday night I got in a little fight with my dad and then he punished me

So I went up to my room and sliced my thighs and torso multiple times and kinda deep too

And all of today I'm dizzy from blood loss

(My mom thinks I'm dizzy from a cold, but I hide my mental state. I made a joke about cannibalism once and they got concerned so I ain't joking about suicide or any of that shit)

And my head hurts, soooo
