Night's conflict

The young boy had a lot of struggles actually, Nox wouldn't be assigned to guard him without reason, but it wasn't obvious what was going on at first. Night was born during a time where conflict was already in action, but he grew up trying to learn and improve for a long time, motivated from Despair who Night used to trust until this conflict started.

Night liked to adventure into other timelines, mainly due to Hope's connection to Ink, who also showed him how to play a flute. Eventually Night went by himself and was supplied by a weapon, but many of them used it as a way for Night to practice his emotion effectively. Things only turned for the worst when Nightmare found Night, who messes with all of the Negative guardians.

For a the negative guardians were actually preparing the stage for Night's resolution, but since Nightmare didn't want it to happen, but also wanted to see the result he decided to push Night while he was still vulnerable and didn't make it easy for him to prove himself worthy. The conflict is ongoing, but it does slowly crush his trust in the world more, which is why the other guardians slowly stepped in quietly. As Nightmare would say "If I can get to you, then that means you Guardians already failed"
