Goretober day 1! The theme is poison and if you know me, you know I am absolutely fascinated by poison. I drew My OC Ayumi, and a lil fella next to the poison stand at the top. Lots of fun!

This is my OC Scribble who is put together entirely of paper and ink. He is an engineer who has made a hobby of making weapons for a group of vigilantes known as "the minor threats." Hes also a sassy, gay, bartender.

I was upposed to create a custom hunger games map, so I made one thats completely pitch black, so you cant see anything, and the I made the tributes glow so that tributes always know where eachother are at all times and its easy to go after eachother, and the I created a sort of angler fish snake i'm calling the "phobolophius reptans" (meaning fear-angler that moves on land) and its glows just like the tributes so the more violent tributes go after it thinking its a target and then it can gobble them up. Think about the paranoia that would come from knowing everyone knows where you are and being completely stuck in the dark unable to see!

This was tons of fun. Sadly most people left once the rp started so it was like, 4 of us. Shoutout to my friend Demonic!Olive for the cute fanart of my character Retina!

Boredom got the best of me.

I've started making these things while listening to podcasts and audiobooks. It was lots of fun so expect a ton of these.

Retina is an OC of mine. This is my first digital drawing of them. They somehow look creepy and cute at the same time. Please use they/them/it/its Pronouns for them.

Gotta love her.

Lately life has been extremely stressful for me, and it's become harder and harder to push myself. I’m at the age where I still have room to grow, but have to start thinking about my future career and possible colleges. I love art, and writing with all my heart and I love all my characters, but every time I see someone else's art I just feel farther and farther from my dreams and closer and closer to some imaginary nonexistent deadline. I show up to art class and see all these kids my age who can draw like Frida Kahlo or Vincent Van Gogh, and I see my cartoons and feel like I'm behind. I feel like I can no longer show creativity and instead just have to churn out random realistic portraits like everyone else. And then I get online. If i’m self conscious about my traditional work, then i’m ten times more self conscious about my digital art, I know i’m going to have to learn it at some point if I want to make comics, but I see the weird color palettes and my wobbly lineart due to my shaky hands, and I doubt myself. I end up deleting most of what I draw. And then I see some professional artists with gorgeous art and realise they are only 5 or 6 years older than me and panic. Will I have to have art that good in a few years? I just can't take a break, because I spend my entire break feeling like I'm not being productive enough. So let me tell you, I'm going to be trying my best to stop treating art and writing like a future career I need to perfect, and more like ways to express my creativity. I will still probably overthink and panic, but I have people to ground me now. I have named her Hikage because it means "shade" in Japanese, so it's like my username. My lore I've come up with is that her stitched wounds and scars are because her body is sewn together, sort of like Frankenstein. IDK, I just like it.
You may notice that sometimes the scars and stitched wounds on her change places. That's because the inspiration for her character was all the things I'm self-conscious about in my body. Where the scars are is typically a place on my body I feel self-conscious about at the time. So in a way she is a reflection of me.
