Whats New in Magma, June 2023

Greetings Magma aficionados! We’ve been keeping a close eye on your requests & feedback, and working behind the scenes to deliver some exciting new features and improvements to elevate your experience in Magma! This recent update is packed with a combination of creative tools and big improvements to the Magma experience.

Latest Update Highlights

• 28 new brushes
• Canvas archiving removed
• Introducing, “Pyro’s Lab Artspace” for testing beta features
• Text Tool beta
• Video calls & screen sharing beta
• Ability to delete Artspaces

New Magma Brushes | Blaze Accounts

• More brushes has been one of the most requested items within our growing community, and we’ve delivered a series of brushes customized by our team to offer a diverse selection to expand your palette for creation!
• Our latest brushes will be available to Blaze account owners, and will be available for free to anyone who joins our Magma Classroom & Clubhouse Artspace events occurring every week, where all blaze features will be active during these events! Information & events are hosted in our Discord, to learn more.

Canvas Archiving Removed

• For all account owners, canvas artwork will no longer be archived!
• Account storage limits will be enforced based on your account status, offering self management so you no longer lose your work.
• All previously archived artwork is now unlocked.
• If your account storage has exceeded it’s limits, you will be required to manually remove artwork to continue working and creating new artwork.

Pyro’s Lab Beta Artspace & Discord

• Pyro’s Lab Artspace offers you free early access to beta features in development, to experiment and provide feedback for improvements. As we continue to develop new features, your feedback and artistic voice is essential to our growth.

• Join Pyro’s Lab Discord to chat with other beta testers, and share your thoughts in our feedback channels

Text Tool (beta)

• Text tool beta is now available for usage in Pyro’s Lab Artspace, and comes packed with all standard text tool modifiers for usage within the canvas!
• Text tool will remain in beta status in Pyro’s Lab as we continue to develop more features, and collect feedback from the Magma community.
• Join Pyro’s Lab Artspace, and head to the Text Tool (beta) project channel to try this new addition

Video Calls & Screensharing (beta)

• Pyro’s Lab Artspace now offers beta access to video calls & screensharing in canvas!
• Video & screen sharing offers tremendous value for collaborators & information sharing
• Give this a try in Pyro’s Lab Artspace and share your feedback in Pyro’s Lab Discord

Delete Artspaces

In case you missed it, Magma now has the ability to remove Artspaces! For Artspace owners & admins, head to the settings menu, click delete, and within 14 days time the artspace will be permanently removed from our database.

Artspace Description Box

• Magma Artspace projects now have the ability to apply custom information to unique project channels, with our recently deployed Description Box!
• Description box provides value for inputting important information & resources for collaborators working within a shared space for various purposes in organizing team structure.

Filters Beta Phase Complete

• This year we added Filters (beta) accessible to all magma account owner for image adjustments. -
• Filters are no longer in beta phase, however we are still in development of new filters and additions to these editing solutions!
• In the filters menu you have the option request in the filters tab to give us feedback on existing usage, or requests to add more!
